Last updated: October 28, 2026 · Version 1.0
Who we are
Intellect Council is operated by Recordskeeper Inc, a Delaware C-Corp, 447 Sutter St, Ste 506 - 1469, San Francisco, CA 94108 ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What we collect
We collect as little as we can. Specifically:
- Free samples: your answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us. If you choose "Email me my results", we receive your email address and the test you took.
- Account: your email address and name, and the sign-in method you chose (email code or Google).
- Purchases: your plan, payment status and transaction reference. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not by us.
- Practice activity in your account: the mocks you take, your answers, scores and times, so we can show your results and history.
- Email preferences: if you subscribe to practice tips, your email address and the consent you gave.
- Analytics, only with your consent: pages viewed, the site that referred you, campaign tags, device type and the practice events described in our Cookie Policy.
- Security: a one-way hash of your IP address, used briefly to limit form abuse.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your date of birth, identity documents, CV or employer details. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies.
Why we use it
To provide the practice tests and your account (performing our contract with you); to take payment and keep records (contract and legal obligation); to send emails you asked for (consent, which you can withdraw); to measure and improve the site (consent for analytics); and to keep the site secure (our legitimate interest in preventing abuse).
How long we keep it
Account and practice history: while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days after you delete it. Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires. Subscriber emails: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Delete your account from your account page, or email [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can use the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link in the footer at any time.
Age
The site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change and show the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email.
