How to choose
Your invitation names the test. If it names a publisher or test, such as Wonderlic, CCAT, SHL, Predictive Index or Caliper, practice the matching style. If it names a type, such as numerical or verbal reasoning, practice that type.
It only says "aptitude test" or "assessment". Start with the aptitude test. It mixes the three most common question types, and your results show which to focus on next.
It is a graduate, banking or office job in the UK. Employers often call these psychometric tests. Numerical and verbal reasoning usually matter most.
It is a trade, technical or manufacturing job. Add the mechanical aptitude test.
It is an admin, data or finance job. Add the Excel, data entry or accounting test.
Not sure what to expect at all? Our guide to how to pass an aptitude test covers the basics in five minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Are these practice tests free?+
Yes. Every test has a free 10-question sample with explanations and no account. Full-length timed mocks are part of a paid plan.
How close are these to the real tests?+
Each test follows the commonly reported format of the real one: the question types, the time per question and, in the full mocks, the length. The questions themselves are original. We never use real or leaked questions.
Which test should I take first?+
The one named in your invitation. If it is not specific, start with the aptitude test: it covers the most common question types and shows you where to focus.
